Optimist International is a worldwide volunteer organization made up of more than 2,500 local Clubs whose members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, in their communities, and in themselves.
The local Plymouth-Canton Club has served the schools and community since 1949 with programs such as: Spelling Bees, Oratorical Contests, Math Jeopardy, Bike Safety Rodeos, Pet shows, and numerous community centered events.
We gather in both Plymouth and Canton each month to fellowship and plan the events. Please consider visiting an event to see what we do in action.
